A Cinemetic Experiment

This series was an experiment in creating a cinematic atmosphere through photography. I visited Villa Montalvo in Saratoga, but when I arrived, the villa was closed and the area was completely empty. Tucked away in the mountains, the place felt quiet and isolated, almost surreal.

I decided to treat it like a personal adventure. I've always been curious about exploring abandoned or off-limits spaces, and even though the villa wasn’t abandoned, the emptiness made it feel that way. Walking around the outside, I imagined scenes from a movie. It was all about mystery and unexpected discovery.
